Not all carbon Filters are Equal
Many systems use low-grade or loosely packed carbon that improves taste but does little beyond that. Our 0.5 micron carbon block is highly activated and independently tested, with an iodine value of around 1000 - a key measure of carbon quality and adsorption capacity. This means a far greater surface area to bind contaminants, allowing effective reduction of chlorine, chemicals and heavy metals.
0.01 Micron Ultra Filtration
Most whole-house systems rely on 5 micron filtration, which mainly removes visible sediment. We’ve gone much further by incorporating a 0.01 micron ultrafiltration stage that physically removes bacteria, parasites and cysts from the water. Instead of relying solely on UV to inactivate microorganisms, this membrane acts as a true barrier - removing what's not required in your water.
