My 21-year old daughter has a severe eczema condition she got a few years ago since moving to New Plymouth Taranaki. Her skin was always burning when taking a shower. Couple weeks in and already seeing improvements. The tap water doesn’t cause my daughter’s eczema, but it does irritate it. Massively. Used a simple plumbing fitting to rig it up to the bath tap and added a hose + shower head. We only use the bath for our baby, so should get longevity out of the filter. Great product.

Have only just installed it so can’t say much about differences in hair / skin health. It might just be me but I would love if it came with a little instruction sheet e.g where to put the washers, how to properly use the swivel head adaptor (because I struggled to get it into position). Honestly I installed this by myself, am not well versed in this stuff and used it completely wrong for my first shower (which I knew because it was spitting water out of the joins). I know it’s supposed to be easy, but for a complete plumbing newbie it took longer than I expected to figure it out. Seems like a great product; just giving some constructive feedback :)

I love the water quality with this filter and the skin of my 1 year old definitely improved (he had eczema) BUT we are living in an old house with not the best hot water cylinder and hot water pressure and since having the water filter installed the warm water in our shower is constantly changing and we have rather a cold shower which is definitely not enjoyable. So not sure if this filter is ideal for every hot water cylinder.
